Deep Linking and SEO (Search Engine Optimisation)
One of most effective ways of getting all areas of your website a higher Page-Rank and of directing traffic to your website is to create deep links.
Deep links are links which point deeper into your than
just the homepage. Many people make the positive move
of generating inbound links, but then they forget also
to get quality links also pointing in at different parts
of their site.
. As you can see below, when I searched
for 'Sicily real estate' in Google, www.investsicily.com/lastest.htm
can at the top in addition to the homepage. If a page
is optimized and high enough in Page-rank on its own,
then the page may do well in searches with or without
the homepage. This in effect gives you more of a chance
of getting results in searches.
So how can you create deep links and deep links
which are one way and inbound (IBLs)?
What you can do is start doing:
- article submissions and including a link to somewhere deep in your sites
- submit responses on forums (some forums have NoFollow enabled) but some forums are worth submitting to
- Start a blog and write genuinely interesting and useful information. Include the odd link to different parts of your website.
